Disney World for Christmas

For those of you who follow us on Instagram and/or YouTube probably already know that we’ve been on this fun travel trip for the holidays! Not quite as epic as the one we have planned next month, but a close second. We left the panhandle and headed to Disney World to check off our final two Walt Disney World bucket list items, which were to stay at the Fort Wilderness Campground and attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! We enjoyed an eventful and holiday filled few days! We loved every minute of our trip!

Disney World Bucket List – Part 1

After our Disney World Annual Passes expired, I had two things still on my Disney Bucket list before we expand our travels beyond the state of Florida. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this video! Are you following us onĀ InstagramĀ andĀ YouTube?? If not, you should be! šŸ™‚

Blue Angels Air Show, Pensacola Lighthouse, n’ Freedom

There’s no better way to celebrate Veteran’s Day than watching the Blue Angels Air Show, touring the Pensacola lighthouse, and celebrating America’s freedom!! We’ve been to Pensacola several times, but have never seen the Blue Angels fly or toured the lighthouse on base, so we figured this would be the perfect opportunity! Thank you to all those who have served, fought for, and protected our freedom! We hope you enjoy this video, and don’t forget to comment and like!

Have you seen the Blue Angels fly? If so, where? What is your favorite part about an air show?

Chattahoochee Nature Center

On our Georgia trip, we made sure to head over to the Chattahoochee Nature Centernter in Roswell, GA. I had been when I was younger, but didn’t know much about it recently. Boy did it change! I was super impressed with everything they had to offer and we weren’t even able to go on a themed day. They have themed days relating back to the time of year or addressing specific topics, which is great for those looking for some bonus add-ons to your curriculum! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re local or in the area traveling! We really enjoyed this as a field trip because it pairs nature with education, which I love!

Autrey Mill Nature Preserve

It’s been a VERY long time since I have been toĀ Autrey Mill Nature PreserveĀ in Georgia, which is exactly why I decided to make the trip over there. Between hiking, exploring the historic village buildings, checking out the old mill and mine locations, and learning about the animal exhibits, one could definitely spend a great afternoon or entire day here! Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, and the camps they offer seem really interesting! If you’re in Georgia, this would be a great day trip!
