Fulltime RV Life
Tires for the Duramax Suburban
Well…After our flat tire, we called the online tire distributor that was used by the previous owner to outfit the suburban with tires. Long-story-short they were unable help. So in this video I give you the rundown of how we got our Duramax Suburban some new shoes, and what were the shortcomings of the online store vs the brick and mortar store we choose.
Kennedy Space Center
We have never been to Kennedy Space Center as a family, in fact my husband is the only one who’s ever been and that was over seventeen years ago. With us trying to see all of Florida this year, KSC was a “must” on our list, especially considering our son’s interest in all things space!
Come laugh with us! RV Flat Tire
Duraburb gets a flat! We all have highs and lows, and when you get some back-to-back low’s (see First RV crash video) it can be harder. But this is about the journey, so come laugh with us, as we fight our way through fixing a road side flat.
First RV Crash and Savannah Trip
We decided to be spontaneous and changed our destination the morning of our travels. That may have proven to have caused some bumps in the road, watch the video to see more! Regardless, we enjoyed seeing Savannah and to no surprise at all, needed lots more time to see it all! We will definitely be back, maybe even for several weeks! We enjoyed the history, the homes, and the food! Since we plan to return, we would love to hear your Savannah stories and recommendations for our next trip!
Kennedy Space Center was a BLAST!
The Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida has been on our must-see list for a while now, and we were finally able to get over to the space coast! If you’re even remotely interested in anything NASA and space related, we highly encourage you to plan a trip over there! We had such a blast and didn’t even have time to see it all. If you plan a trip, I suggest you follow their itinerary because we didn’t arrive until around 11am and didn’t have enough time before closing to see everything. There are also several tours that we would’ve signed up for had we been there a second day! Check back with our blog over the next several weeks for full write ups on this trip!
What is this HOME you speak of??
Since the beginning of our fulltiming RV life, we’ve moved an average of every other month or so. We typically travel semi locally, with longer trips sprinkled throughout the year. We are currently heading “home” from our Christmastime travels that ranged from Disney World, Kennedy Space Center, Savannah, to Atlanta. We’ve been traveling for two weeks straight and I’ve noticed something. Even though our house is with us, we continue to use this term “home”.
“When we get home…”
“It’s time to pack up and head home.”
“How much longer until we get home?”
Disney World Bucket List – Part 3
We hope you enjoy our 3rd and final video on our Disney Fort Wilderness Christmas RV trip! We enjoyed exploring all around the campground and partaking in the holiday festivities at Disney! We even had time to venture out and take in a little bit of Orlando! We highly recommend the sushi restaurant that was recommended by Trip Adviser if you’re ever in the Orlando area! For my fellow runners, I’d love to hear what company you use for your favorite running gear! As always, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe!
Disney World Bucket List – Part 2
Come with us as we set out to finish our Disney Bucket List! We’re staying at the Fort Wilderness Campground on Disney property and heading off to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! We skipped the conventional park tickets to enjoy the camping lifestyle at Disney and the Christmas Party! We had such a blast and would love to hear about your trips to the campground and Christmas Party! Don’t forget to hit “like” if you enjoyed this video and subscribe for more videos!
Disney World for Christmas
For those of you who follow us on Instagram and/or YouTube probably already know that we’ve been on this fun travel trip for the holidays! Not quite as epic as the one we have planned next month, but a close second. We left the panhandle and headed to Disney World to check off our final two Walt Disney World bucket list items, which were to stay at the Fort Wilderness Campground and attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! We enjoyed an eventful and holiday filled few days! We loved every minute of our trip!
