A Day in the ATL

I’m not sure if people still call it “the ATL” anymore or if that’s a thing of the past. Growing up there, we always giggled at that reference as we just called it “Atlanta”…easy enough right? We were going to be in Georgia on a trip and decided to head into Atlanta for a quick day trip. We had only been to Fernbank once for a school dance, and knowing we have a dinosaur-loving little boy, we figured no trip was complete without a visit to Fernbank Museum of Natural History! So we hit the road and headed over! If you’ve never been to Fernbank or are just traveling through with some time to kill, I HIGHLY recommend this Museum for young and old alike!

3 Months into Fulltiming

Well, we’re 3 months in! I know, I’m as shocked as you are! I can’t believe it’s been 3 months already and I haven’t a clue where the time has gone. We just arrived at campground #3 and will be here for a month before moving on. We’re really enjoying this lifestyle, and I keep reminding myself that part of that could be that we live in a vacation town. I keep thinking that I need to constantly remind myself of that so I’m not disappointed later down the road. But honestly, I’m not sure I’ll ever be disappointed with this lifestyle. Yes, there will always be the good places and the not-so-good places, but the thing about this lifestyle is that you’re doing it to explore and wander, not really to hang at the campground and ‘live’. Since we do have to do some ‘living’ locally right now, I’m more than happy to do it in a vacation town! 🙂 Here’s a quick video update of things we’ve been doing and working on while living fulltime in our RV! We hope you enjoy, like, comment, follow, subscribe, etc!

When Norwex Won’t Fit the Bill

Prior to fulltiming, I spent some money on a few Norwex cloths because they were highly recommended for cleaning stainless, among other things. One of the reasons everybody loves Norwex is because they can be used for so many things!  For whatever reason, when I went to clean the fridge, freezer, microwave, and stove for the first time…NOTHING HAPPENED!! It didn’t do anything! I was sooooo frustrated I had bought these cloths JUST for this reason. Yes, I use them for other things, but this was why I bought them. Discouraged, I turned to my group of mom friends for help. It turned out a few other moms had the same issue and were seeking advice as well. One mom friend had the most unusual idea and I decided to give it a try and it totally worked! Watch this video and let me know what you think!

Have you ever heard of this?? Have you tried it? What did you think?

Girls Night!

Whether you travel or not, you’re bound to need a night out with the girls, unless you’re a guy…then you could probably care less! Regardless, I highly recommend getting with a local bakery to see if they do any cake decorating classes, private ones specifically. I don’t know why I’ve never thought of this before, but we had so much fun when a friend planned a private party for just the girls! We brought food and drinks and came armed to decorate! We had so much fun, I had to plan another one!
