Husky Center Line Weight Distribution Hitch – Review

Hey All.
This is a quick review on our Husky Center Line Weight Distribution Hitch. Here are some quick thoughts as an owner for nearly 12 months. There are some small drawback, but all-in-all it has been a great system.

Draw backs:
1-It is noisey.
2-It is nearly impossible to get on or off if tow vehicle and trailer are not in a straight line.

Fort Friday!!

Happy Fort Friday everybody! I’m assuming even our oldest of readers are building their forts as we speak…right?!? haha! You’re never too young to start! We have to be creative with our forts these days! We enjoy a good fort Friday! We’ve spotted a pretty day outside, so we’re heading out! Hope everybody has a wonderful weekend!

It’s also worth mentioning that forts are a favorite pastime of ours when sickness has taken over our house! I highly recommend adding a fort day to your sick days! It works wonders! 🙂

Do It Your SHELF!

There are certain modifications that you just cannot live without while living in a tiny space, and this is definitely one of them! If you haven’t seen our VERY IN DEPTH owner’s review, you can check it out here, but we had some issues with our closet situation (shocking, I know!) We have a pantry/closet option that we’re using for my husband’s closet, however it’s so short that even shirts have about a foot of crinkle/fold at the bottom which made all of his shirts look awful. Watch below and find out how we fixed it!

I smell smoke…

It was about midnight and we were sleeping soundly in our RV, when we heard a loud pop that startled us all! I am so thankful that it happened this week as the hubby just returned from a week long business trip. Had it happened when he was gone, I probably would’ve ignored the sound and gone back to bed. We got up out of bed to explore the sound and walked into a room full of electrical smoke. After an hour or more of troubleshooting, we determined it was safest to unplug at the power supply to ensure there was no electricity going to the RV. Needless to say, it was a a long, quiet, hot night for us all as it’s summer still in Florida! Check out our video below, like, subscribe if you haven’t already, and share your comments!

When Norwex Won’t Fit the Bill

Prior to fulltiming, I spent some money on a few Norwex cloths because they were highly recommended for cleaning stainless, among other things. One of the reasons everybody loves Norwex is because they can be used for so many things!  For whatever reason, when I went to clean the fridge, freezer, microwave, and stove for the first time…NOTHING HAPPENED!! It didn’t do anything! I was sooooo frustrated I had bought these cloths JUST for this reason. Yes, I use them for other things, but this was why I bought them. Discouraged, I turned to my group of mom friends for help. It turned out a few other moms had the same issue and were seeking advice as well. One mom friend had the most unusual idea and I decided to give it a try and it totally worked! Watch this video and let me know what you think!

Have you ever heard of this?? Have you tried it? What did you think?

Smooth Moving

People have asked us how difficult it is to pick up and go while fulltiming. “Fulltimers tend to have so much stuff setup outside” is a comment we frequently hear. A few days ago, we completed our first “move” while fulltiming. We figured we’d videotape the outside tear down to give you an idea of just what is involved in “moving” our RV. We didn’t have time to get an inside video, so we’ll make sure to tape that in a few weeks when it’s time to pack up again, but I’m happy (and shocked) to say that we didn’t have any mishaps inside during the move. Enjoy and let us know if you have any questions or comments! Don’t forget to give us a “thumbs up” if you liked our video, and as always, SUBSCRIBE! 🙂
