Hernando Beach is located in Florida, about 35 miles north of Tampa. This quaint town has uncrowded beaches, wildlife parks, and so much more! On our way down to south Florida, we were able to yard camp with family in Hernando Beach. We really enjoyed our time with family, not to mention the view and location was pretty amazing!
When we first purchased our travel trailer, we did so under the assumption that we would be doing weekend or week long trips whenever we could, with the possibility of living in it fulltime for six months or so, many years down the road. My husband wanted a toy hauler and I wanted a “homey” feel. Together, we both wanted to be able to watch movies, entertain, or do dishes after the kiddo went to bed. Our child isn’t one who will sleep with tons of noise, so we knew the extra bedroom was a must. Once we knew what we wanted, we began the online search. Between floor plans, weight allowances, and price, we narrowed down the search fairly easily.
After a day of crazy long driving, we finally got to the 2017 Florida RV Super Show in Tampa. The place is crazy and awesome! There’s so much to see and so many awesome people to meet! We had a reader request more detail into our rear cargo rack attached to the back of our RV. So we decided what better way to go over this than a YouTube video! The Best RV Cargo Rack is the one you design. Our country is full of awesome craftsman, specifically welders and trailer specialists, that are starving for some work. I highly suggest your turn them loose on making the cargo rack that is right for you. We found the cost for a custom rack to be in many cases, better than buying and shipping a prefabricated rack. Let us know if you have any questions.
