“Buy Used” They Said…

One of the first suggestions you’ll see when beginning your RV search is recommendations to buy used and never buy new! We heard these recommendations too and took them to heart. “All the kinks will be worked out if you buy used” they say. For our RV search, we never really looked for new versus used, we just searched our floorplan and the closest one (still 3 hrs away) happened to be new. The next closest (18 hrs away) was also new. So, as you see, we didn’t have many options with this particular floorplan. So…we bought new.

I know, most of our RVer friends are rolling their eyes. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of people who buy new out there, but the consensus is, used is better. After owning an RV for 1.5 years, I get it! I get it now! I finally feel like we worked out all those little kinks and hiccups and made this RV a home. We’ve figured out what works, and what doesn’t for fulltime living, and we now have a finely tuned home on wheels.

So with that being said, buy used. I know our next one will be! 🙂
