Halloween came and went without a post from me. We were crazy busy between crafts, trick or treating, and the usual daily stuff. So here’s my Halloween post a few days late.
If you’re like me, you’ve been busy doing Halloween crafts all week! Here are some pictures of our favorites we did this year!
We made pumpkins out of construction paper strips. These are pretty self explanatory, but we just cut strips of orange paper, glued or stapled them together at the bottom with the paper flaring out like numbers on a clock. Some crafts suggest putting a strip at each clock number (i.e. 1 o’clock, 2 o’clock and so forth), which probably would’ve been a great idea because the one on the left wasn’t as spaced as I’d hoped for.
Here’s our other craft. Meet Toothless….the bat. Does he not remind you of Toothless from “How to Train Your Dragon”?? This was literally the one I was going for. But those with kids know good and well to let go of all expectations and just let them run with their ideas. I’m still working on that whole letting go of my expectations thing.
We also did some good ole paper plate decorating as a family!
